Site Context & Zonation: This master plan layout is structured in accordance with national UDPFI and regional HMDA development control norms. The site integrates a hierarchical transportation network (Arterial, Collector, and Local Access corridors) to ensure smooth traffic flow, segregation of commercial and residential activities, and optimal land-use distribution. All polygon parcels have been subdivided with zero gaps and verified against statutory green buffers and land-use share thresholds.

Detect existing mapped features inside the Master Boundary using OpenStreetMap vector data. Results are clipped to your boundary and kept separate from proposed planning layers.

Compare the OpenStreetMap building layer with Microsoft's Global ML Building Footprints. Orange features are candidate buildings that are not sufficiently matched to OSM and must be visually verified.
Run Phase 1 Existing Feature Detection for OSM buildings first.
Comparison source: Microsoft Global ML Building Footprints. Orange candidates must be visually verified. Accepted features are stored separately as Verified Existing Buildings and do not modify the original OSM layer.

Generate terrain contours from the Copernicus GLO-90 elevation model for the current Master Boundary. Contours are clipped to the boundary and are intended for planning/QC, not detailed survey design.

Upload a DEM GeoTIFF to make it the active elevation source for contours, terrain intelligence, road profiles, chainage RLs and cross-sections. The file is processed locally in your browser; it is not uploaded to the server.
Active source: Online DEM (GLO-90 via server)

โ›ฐ๏ธ Phase 2 โ€” Terrain Intelligence

Use the same elevation grid as the contours to estimate slope, identify high/low points, and show preliminary rainwater-flow direction inside the Master Boundary. This is planning/QC analysis, not a detailed topographic survey.
Uses the current terrain sampling grid and Master Boundary.

Convert the sampled terrain into an easy-to-read continuous gradient. Inspect positive/negative elevation change, slope severity, terrain aspect and create field-survey points with RL, slope and coordinates.

๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ Phase 2.1 โ€” Road Gradient Analysis

Analyze a proposed road after drawing it. The tool samples elevation at the road vertices, calculates segment and overall gradients, and reports the uphill/downhill direction. Results are preliminary planning/QC guidance based on the active DEM.

โ›ฐ๏ธ Phase 2.2 โ€” Ghat / Hilltop Switchback Road

Draw a rough route from the lower area toward the hilltop. The tool uses the active DEM to detect the elevation change and automatically creates a longer curved switchback alignment when a direct climb is too steep. This is a preliminary planning alignment, not a construction design.
Draw a rough uphill route first, then generate the curved hill road.

Create field-friendly station points from the selected road centerline. Chainage is measured from the drawn start point. RL values are existing-ground elevations from the active DEM for preliminary planning/QC.
